The 2026 MLB Draft is finally in the books; however man different players who have elite skills weren’t immediately taken off the board, so many people have no idea who they are. From the United States to Switzerland, there are many different players that have slipped under fans’ radar.

3B – Gavin Grahovac – Los Angeles Angels

Right before the draft, the Angels ended up firing their former GM Perry Minasian. This led to many fans wondering how they would attack their draft class this year, and boy, should Angels fans be excited for this young lad. Third baseman Gavin Grahovac spent three years of college with Texas A&M before being selected by the Angels in the 3rd round of the 2026 MLB Draft. Gavin Grahovac is also the cousin of current MLB Player, Blake Mitchell. Gavin was ranked #38 on MLB Pipeline’s top 250 list prior to being drafted; however, he ultimately fell to the third round, where the Angels scooped him up. In Grahovac’s junior year, he hit 22 bombs, tallied 78 hits, posted an OPS of 1.150, and ensured his selection in the draft with a .339 AVG. It seems very likely that he will sign with the Angels given earlier rather than later.

SS – Evan Morrison – Texas Rangers

The Rangers seemed to be planning long term as they used many of their picks on high school arms; however, one of the college players they did draft is a contact machine. The Rangers selected Shortstop Evan Morrison in the 10th round of the draft this year out of Grand Valley State University in Michigan. Evan Morrison is an extremely dependable hitter when it comes to getting on base. Morrison sported a .410 AVG while tallying a grand total of 103 hits in the GLIC this year. Morrison only struck out 8 times, so you can almost guarantee he will always put the ball in play, which is useful for any organization. It’s no surprise a team like the Rangers decided to draft him, considering the current position they are in after trading a lot of their prospects away in recent years, and he could be a lottery ticket prospect in the future with a real shot of making the big leagues if he signs.

RHP [RP] – Isaac Yeager – Chicago White Sox

Isaac Yeager isn’t a name that you will see at the top of any draft board; however, that doesn’t make him invaluable. Isaac Yeager was drafted in the 14th round of the 2026 MLB Draft by the Chicago White Sox, who by then had already built up an insane draft class. The Oregon State senior had one of the most dominant seasons from a college reliever that I have seen in a long time. He posted a 2.04 ERA in 25 appearances while striking out 49 over 39.2 innings. His slider is his key to missing bats, as it had a 55% miss rate during his senior season. He also had a low-90s fastball and will probably need to develop a third pitch in the future. This is a sneaky good pick for the White Sox, who desperately need pitching.

C – Mark Quatrani – San Diego Padres

Offensive catching in the later rounds of the MLB Draft is extremely hard to find; however, the Padres might’ve struck gold in the 18th round with the selection of Notre Dame’s Mark Quatrani. Quatrani blasted 15 home runs this year for Notre Dame as their starting catcher and had a nice average of .376 to end the season with before heading over to the Cape Cod League to improve his draft stock. On the defensive, Quatrani has thrown out 20% of all baserunners that he’s encountered behind the dish. It’s possible that the Padres could sign him away from returning to college; however, Quatrani has all the cards in these negotiations.
